Picked up a beretta 9000s-f 300.00 nib today on the spur of the moment deal.I liked the feel of the gun alittle fat, slide a little getting used to.anyone have any issues good or bad with this ? good deal? bad deal? indifferant?

I had one and did not mind the fat grips at all, Actually the ergonomics of the guns were pretty good for a sub compact IMHO. However what I could not stand was how far back the trigger break was. The DA trigger was also a bit to heavy. IF carried cocked and locked it would not be bad.

I kind of wish I could have got my hands on a full sized beretta 9000, but I am not sure they made many of them.

also holy christ those mags are hard to load. I could only get 10 rounds into a 12 round mag...definitely need a loader.

Measure the grips they are not fat at all compared to most any double stack gun. The slide is fat and the ambi safety levers really add to the frame's girth.

Good gun for the price, IMHO but not a great choice for concealed carry because of the fat slide safety levers.

Get the UpULUA "universal" pistol mag loader, best $26 you'll ever spend, I've yet to find a pistol mag it doesn't work with, single or double stack.
