I agree the "silver accents" are gaudy but they are
part of a package for ultimate smoothness. Yet without
those specific parts the Langdon actions are still excdellent.
As to the little mag guide, that's an option which
Langdon will include or just buy one and
put it on the gun yourself.
True enough though, I don't believe you'll go wrong
with either gun.
