Not to rain on your parade, but...
A 92FS INOX was my first semi-auto. It was also the only gun I have even given away. A few problems:
- shot 2" low and 4" left at 10 yards - could have drifted the rear sight, but with the other problems, I didn't waste my time
- accuracy was so-so at best - 3" offhand at 10 yards was typical; I could blame myself, but would routinely shoot a 3/4" group with a 686 immediately afterwards
- finish lasted about a month - The metal on the grip started turning black almost immediately. Turns out the frame is aluminum and anodized. Anodizing is not even close to stainless in the corrosion resistance department. I wasn't aware the INOX was discontinued, but this might be the reason. Beretta was nice enough to refinish it for me, but I knew it would just corrode again if I shot it, so I gave it to my brother.
I'll hand it to Beretta though, the machining was top notch, and the reliability was 100%.
Just my two cents worth.
