I have 215 rounds through my Beretta 92FS so far, and I've noticed a very small scratch on the extractor end of the barrel (Near the small gap where the indicator sits?) that is actually quite jagged. I honestly don't believe anything I did was the cause, so apparently this happened while shooting the gun. Is this normal, should I rub it out, and if I do and it re-appears should I contact Beretta?

PS- sorry I don't have pics.

Unfortunately scratches and finish wear is the results of use and unavoidable. As long as there is no functioning problem with the gun they're no real problem. If they bother you, touch them up with a blueing pen, but they'll return as the gun is shot.

Complaining to Beretta would be like complaining to GM about door dings or scratches in your car that you've driven for the last year.

If you can manage to put up a close up picture I might be able to see whats going on. However, as Steve C said, "As long as there is no functioning problem with the gun they're no real problem."
Regards
