Hey guys,

Had a discussion lately as to whether the recessed firing pin hole on this Beretta 92fs Inox (Italian) is normal or not.

What are your thoughts?

Why wouldn't it be normal? Check your primers on spent shells. If they're not backing out, then I would think it's normal. I'm guessing the recess is there to reduce the brass shaving that can result from a sharp-edged FP hole.

I believe it is normal, I've never had an issue with my Berettas, the question came up here recently and I could not be 100% so I was after confirmation.
