Treo Said: I'm mean that seriously American manufacturing jobs are expected to be cut by 50% by 2016. I'd say any thing we can do to keep the jobs here will ultimately be better for our economy.
The problem isn't folks not buying American (both our SUV's are Dodge BTW), but the corporate tax rate!
The UK has the highest corporate tax rate in the world. Their economy is totally in the tank. Wanna guess who has the second highest corporate tax rate in the world? The U.S.! Follow the $$$!
There are very few bussineses that the US government can stop from going off shore. It's corporate taxes that's killing US produced goods. They pass the tax on to the consumer. There are very few instances where government has legislated & refused to let a business pass along a tax.
We need to get government OFF the backs of business. Business makes $$, they expand, they hire more folks.
How dare a businessman/woman make money and hire more people! A certain politcal party would have you believe that it's evil to have/make money. They forget about the expansion and new employeees that benifet everytime business is good!
That's why services, medical, etc. are the hot job ticket today in the US. They
can't send it overseas!
That certain political party thinks that it's better that
they control the business's money...and your $$. Call it the "New Deal" or "The Great Society"; it's all about taxes and people control. Control the $$...you can control the people.
IF, I say IF they get the white house,
and (this is very important) a philibuster proof majority in the house, we are a done deal.
Vote my brothers and sisters, it's our only chance to get us back on the path to complete stability. Hand them the defeat they deserve, and this time, we demand fiscal responsibility from the folks we vote in. No more 'tax & spend". Get the corporate tax rate reduced..and see the jobs come home.
Rant over. Polite and reasonable debate or decension invited.
