Good evening all,
I recently picked up a spanking new 92x that i am loving so far (sorry no pics). I am looking for recommendations on a good owb holster (prefer paddle but not a deal breaker). Do the 92x and the M9a3 share the same holsters? All the holsters online i find don't list the 92x and no one in my area has a holster for this gun, I would really like to find a good holster as this think is a solid shooter and id really like to carry it when im out in the desert dinking around lol. thanks for the help in advanced
Blake

Congrats on the 92x. It is on my short list once 9mm ammo starts to come back in stock. I'd love to get the compact version.

As for holsters, I would think most 92 series holsters would fit the gun with the caviot of not being form fitted at the trigger guard area as the x series seems to have gotten away from a squared guard in favor of a round one.

Let us know what you find. I really want one of these guns;)

Don't forget the 92X has a rail. While the M9A3 has a rail, the 92FS and the M9, the two most common Beretta 92 configurations don't. A 92X wouldn't fit in a 92FS or M9 holster.

For the OP, you may have to call some makers and ask. The 92X is fairly new, and the holster makers often don't keep up with their websites. They may offer the holster, but not got around to listing it.

If it's a leather paddle holster you want, there aren't many

Upon thinking about it, the OP might look at the Safariland offerings. They have a few universal holsters that hold lots of guns reasonably well. They come set up for a paddle too.

I agree with the Safariland recommendation if looking for a paddle holster. I know the OP didn't ask for leather, but elsewhere somebody was looking for a leather paddle, so those were current in my mind.

Paddle holsters are generally focused to the LE or competition folks, and Safariland covers both groups pretty well.

Hey everyone thanks for the responses. So far I haven't found a holster but I've been told any holster for the m9a1 will work as they both have rails, can anyone confirm this? At this point I'll take paddle or belt and don't really have a preference on materials as long as the quality is good. Thanks again everyone btw the gun shoots great

Probably true. Other than the Brigadier slide guns, all the other railed 9X guns are fairly similar, slide and rail-wise, the 92X, M9A1, M9A3, Langdon LTT, etc.

The retention is often off the inside of the trigger guard, and while there is an external difference between the round and square trigger guard guns, I believe Beretta made an effort to make the interior dimensions the same whether they are round or square.
