Beretta CX4 with APX magazine?

Is posible to modify Beretta APX magazine to use tham in CX4 storm?

I have APX and i would like to buy CX4, but even if i like it, it comming little bit short behind the scorpion EVO in terms of price, aftermarket and since im living in Czech, even service.

But if i would be able to use my APX magazines.. that would be game changer. Sadly i dont have option to even look at beretta 92 or PX4 magazines and dont have a lot of experiences to just go and wildly cut my magazine in hope it will work

So what you think? Is it possible? I did some photo of APX mag and for me it kinda looks like its just matter of mag hold notch in front (reminder: i didnt see 92 mag in wild, just on photos and i didnt see CX4 magwell) - if it will not block insert into CX4 and follower is same, its just question of making cut for 92 mag hold, or inst it?

That ambi mag catch in the front of the APX magazine is going to be a problem.

While the CX4 boasts ambidextrous usage, the mag catch in the CX4 has to be reversed in the gun either left or right, not both.

I suppose mag catch slots could be cut into the APX mag to mimic a 92 magazine, assuming all other dimensions would be the same. But I figure that ambi mag catch on the APX magazine would have to come off or get flattened. Which means it wouldn't work in the APX anymore.

Yeah, thats my worry too. Didnt see CX4 magwell so i dont dare even hope... on other hand - if it would be just that one thing, cutting "92" hold slot into mag and than line into magwell (which as i understand is changable part)... But its just theory and somehow dont want be that one who will blindly buy CX4 to test it... but who im kidding, i will probably buy it anyway

If it makes you feel any better, my only double stack 9mm pistol is a CZ and it sure doesn't share magazines with my CX4.

Thanks for try, but no, it didnt make me feel better Anyway i postponed plans for CX4, so it will be while before i try it... but if somebody have CX4 storm or 92/PX4, feel free to post photos of magwell and mags for futher theoretical discussion.

Somehow i still think this conversion (CX fot APX mags) isnt impossible, ofcourse i basing it on assumption that follower and shape of mag is same/similiar enough

The only down side to the APX lie-up is that many accessories for Berettas do not fit. Even holsters for a while were hard to find for anything but the full size. I have the Centurion 9mm and always wished the mags fit the CX as well.
