Went to a lgs over the weekend that was having their annual open house. I was interested in picking up a CZ of some flavor and did end up with a 75 compact but was tempted by another special. They were selling Beretta 92fs priced at $499 and the Beretta rep at the show was offering a free magazine with proof of purchase from that day. So we are talking about $499(Gun)+$34.93(Tax)=$533.93(Total). I picked up the CZ75 compact for $479(Gun)+$33.53(Tax)=$512.53(Total). What would you have done?

I'd have been very tempted to take the Beretta home, I hold them in high regard, CZs are fine pistols, they don't light my fire though.

I picked up a 6th Beretta (a 92FS) about a month ago at a gunshow in Houston. New for $499. That's a great price.

I am a beretta nut, so obviously, I would have went with the Beretta (my concealed carry gun is also a Beretta). They are great guns!

So you would have received two mags (standard) with the new 92FS, AND a third mag later, after the proof of purchase? Would have been hard to turn down the extra mag. I think a Beretta holds it's value a little better, too.
