So I got my new Langdon tactical LTT RDO pistol the other day. When I went to go shot it I noticed a bulge in the barrel. I can’t see anything inside that would indicate the bore is affected. Just looks like the outside. Poor machining maybe? Langdon told me “since it’s a factory beretta part I need to contact them about it” when I emailed them about it. I shot about 100 rounds though it and it shot amazing. Just cosmetic? You can see what I’m talking about in these pictures. You can feel it with your finger too.
Would you be ok with this for a $1700 pistol?

I have only had three Berettas in my lifetime. I currently have a 92X compact. Never noticed any thing like that on a factory barrel. I would contact Beretta and see what they say. With a piece costing that much I would not put up with any imperfections.

I have a 92x performance and 92g ltt. I can say i like the factory 92x performance better. The trigger on ltt is not superior to 92x, and in fact less smooth. I think this langdon story is a marketing scam to sell mediocre guns at premium prices. In his videos langdon talks about things everybody knows and he even can not get someone to fix the sound! Amateur! Accuracy wise, 92gltt is at par with 92x pefrformance; both are less accurate than my glock 19. Overall, nice looking guns but outdated, inacurate abd overpriced.

Have you tried running a thick patch down the barrel to see if there's a difference, looseness, when you hit that bulge?

Interesting. I have had the 92x performance since it released two years ago. I would agree the accuracy is the same between the two but the Langdon has a much better trigger. I prefer the slide decocker safety over the dumb frame safety the X performance has. It gets in the way of the slide released when doing fast reloads. Plus no red dot.
