Saw a 1950-1955 era Beretta M1935 ( made 1935 to 1967 ) in high VG to low Excellent condition, with new mil type holster and spare clip that dealer was asking $300 for.
Price seemed high, but subsequent checking of various online sales like gunbroker, gunsamerica, etc showed prices higher than that.
A friend tells me the small Berettas go from hand to hand between collectors when sold and don't usually reach the normal open market.
I have a 1952 made M35 that I don't recall paying that much for not so long ago. As a kid my dad had a M35 that I lusted after to the point I wanted one while my friends all wanted a 007 type PPK. Now, with integral locks on new guns and the QC problems of the 80's and 90's I'm buying the better made earlier guns. So I'd like to pick the above gun up but not at an inflated price?
Can anyone say if the price is in the ballpark?
