Just came accross a matched pair (Left and Right) Beretta Stampede Gemini's for what appears to be a great deal, $800 out the door new in 45LC. I really Like Ruger's for their strength and transfer bar. These Stampede's also have a transfer bar system. They are great looking guns with the silvered triger guard, case hardening, blue barrel and wood grips.

Has anybody have any expereanice with these guns? What can be expected if aquired and used....

I have one Beretta Stampede, a Marshall with the 3 1/2 inch barrel and birdshead grip. I haven't had it a long, long time nor shot it a lot, but I rather like it. It is very well made and fitted and shoots very well. I have no complaints. I like the Ruger transfer bar better but the Beretta system seems to work very well. With the Ruger, of course, it is very simple and safe to load six. With the Beretta, loading six to utilize the transfer bar does require lowering the hammer properly over a live round. Not a big deal, but it's wise to be careful and follow proper procedures re muzzle control, etc., something one should do anyway.
