Examined a couple of these today. I liked them. Slick as all get out, four clicks on the hammer, authentic SAA frame size, plus a transfer bar for safe six-up carry.

Sounds good in my book. Sure, it's an Uberti, but it's a NICE Uberti.

Might be better for me than the USFA Rodeo. Costs less, in any case, and the six up carry would be kind of nice.

Beretta Stampede Inox: Stainless SAA!

3.5" Marshall model. I LOVED this one. Slick little northwoods carry gun if you ask me. Load it up with some Winchester Silvertips or Corbon/Georgia Arms 200 grains/1100 fps rounds (all within SAAMI .45 Colt pressures!) and you'd be all set...

Anybody have one of these? How do you like? I LOVED the Colt Lightning-style grip frame on the Marshal model. With the 3.5" barrel it balanced perfectly.

I had one and loved it - handled great and placed a shot everywhere I aimed. Other folks (cowboy action shooters) had a multitude of problems with them, especially the very early versions/models. I don't know that it's really geared for the heavy/high volume of shooting that a cowboy action shooter may do. Here's a pic of the one I had:

A Friend of mine has a pair of the sherrifs models in .357 Mag. They are beautiful pistols! The fit and finish is really nice and they seem to shoot well.
Unfortunantly,
They both had to make a return to the factory because of timing problems. They seem to be doing ok after the return.

I have one...

I've only had it a few months...

I use it at the range as a fun gun. Mine was perfect ouda da box and remains so after about 300 rounds. Admittedly that's not a lot of rounds. Great little single action to mess with.

I have a 5.5" bright Nickel model in .45 Colt with the fancy walnut grips. I love it. The fire blued srews and cylinder rod are a nice touch, too. I never really rate SAA style revolvers on accuracy, but in comfort and handling the Stampede is wonderful. Much more pleasant than the somewhat-chunky Ruger Vaquero .44 I own, albeit the Ruger is much stouter.

i just bought a stampede carbine 18 inch barrel and shoulder stock was told it was 1 of 200 made not sure im gunna shoot it till i find out more about what i have anyone heard of these?

I don't know them but is it a Beretta or a Winchester "Calgary Stampede"?

I've handled a couple of the Stampede Marshall revolvers and I love them.
I've only fired one. Those 12 rounds standard Remington green & yellow box ammo shot to point of aim and recoil was light.

I actually like it better than my old Colt Sheriff's model. The Thunderer style grip feels much more comfortable and controllable to my hands than any other birdshead style grip.

I'd already own one or two if I could afford them.

Now does anyone make a .45acp cylinder for them? :D

The Stampede is a wonderful gun I cant recomend them highly enough! I picked up mine a blue 5.5 45lc for 350.00 and like it more every day. The finish is very nice and looks as good as a Colt. Accuracy is very good and POI was dead on for me unlike all my Vaqueros which all shoot low left. I think it would make a fine utility gun for woods bumming , survival, small to medium game hunting, protection, plinking and admiring while watching westerns. I've loaded semi warm loads for it (250 at 900) with no problems at all. I'm thinking of picking up another in 357mag strickly for utility purposes since it will handle all 357mag ammo with ease. And I actually prefer the affordable plastic grip color case models.

A couple of weeks ago I saw one of the Stampede's and a Uberti sitting right next to it. They looked almost identical except for the price. If I remember the Uberti was 399.00 and the Stampede was 619.00.

Ruger Redhawk

They are identical~the beretta is simply a badged model. Personally, I'd rather have the Beretta logo on mine, it would match my other Beretta stuff ;) I also like the plastic grip case-colored model the best. That is what I want for christmas!!
