Dave, have a couple 18 rounders with a +2 base, which I really like, but haven't seen that arrangement for sale. Mine came with a 20 rounder, like the ones we just ordered. It is a convenient length.

Those factory 30s are good mags, certainly not as compact as the 20s and using a loader is a must on the last rounds but really not much more than 17s or 18s. Been a while since I'd seen em at a good price, figured it'd be CDNN doing it. Some of my best mag deals came from CDNN.
I filed the sear down on my Storm which lightened the trigger quite a bit. But I don't recommend it unless you know what you're doing as too much is a trip back to Beretta. Or Sierra Papa. There is an ancient thread on the Beretta Owner's Forum with a picture of the sear and someone drew lines showing hiw much is recommended to take off and what the point of no return is. I did half the recommended and noticed a big difference, although it just went from Way Too Heavy to I Can Work With This.
