Are there any differences between the regular 3032 and the CA-compliant 3032? Beretta shows the same info (besides model number) for both J320500 and J320500CA, which leaves me wondering if there is any difference.

I have the ability to purchase a CA compliant model, but do not want to do so if it’s neutered or in some way inferior to the regular model.

Either way, be mindful of the bullet weight, there’s an advisory floating around somewhere about damage to the firearm from too heavy a bullet. 71 grains is the maximum, I think. IMG_6927.jpeg

I’m not up to date on the Tomcat, but I’m pretty sure California requires a magazine disconnect safety and loaded chamber indicator.

Yeah, I forgot about that. The last new-production autopistol I bought in the People's Republic was a Gen3 Glock (which doesn't have a magazine safety) so I'm pretty far behind the times.

Three pistols I did buy in the last 12 months did come with annoying magazine safeties though: SIG P49/220, Star Modelo Super and Pistolet automatique modèle 1935S. The one on the 35S is particularly annoying, since it will cause the gun to malf if the top left grip screw gets a bit loose.
