Swapped the SIG 2.5-8x for a 4-16x. Both scopes I bought before I had a rifle to put them on but I think this one is more appropriate to this rifle. Had ordered a case of Federal 30gr TNT loads and zeroed it at 50yds. I think it wants to shoot them under a half inch at 50yds but I ran out of shooting light before I had a nice group to take a pic of. Still needs lower rings.

Smoked five squirrels today in the span of about three minutes. This is pest control so it doesn't really matter that two of them were unrecovered. If I don't keep them down to a dull roar they'll be in the attic and pilfering vehicles, chewing on fuel lines.

Those look like nice fat squirrels. Do you cook/eat them? We have some tree rats but they're not a huge problem usually. The deer that live in my yard, on the other hand.... @#$@$@#?!@?$$?%%$$

They were some chunky little suckers. We had a bumper crop of acorns this season. Not eating them this time, just thinning them out. The deer are aggravating too.

Nice. I have a Ruger American in .22 Mag that is very accurate. 1-1.5 MOA at 100. I use it for bigger varmints. I would like to have a .17 HMR but don't need both.

I bought an HMR in 6.5 CM a couple of weeks ago,and I've never seen a mass produced rifle shoot that well without any work done to it.I'm on the lookout for one of those in 22LR for practice and long range rimfire target shooting.Nice rifle you got there!
