I've long wanted a really good, accurate .22Mag rifle. Mostly for predators and pest control. Been eyeballing the Bergara and Christensen .22LR rifles at the local shop and decided to order the Bergara in .22Mag. I like the compatibility with Rem700 triggers, bases and stocks and the carbon version isn't too bad on weight. It came yesterday and I hastily slapped a bipod, scope and red dot on it with what I had on hand. The SIG 2.5-8x may not be the scope for this rifle and the rings I had are definitely too tall for it. I'm playing with the idea of a 45° red dot for subsonics at 50yds. I grabbed a bulk pack of Federal 40gr FMJ, threw up a target and started shooting. I always get on paper with shots at inanimate objects on yonder hill. The first two on paper went into the same hole. In failing light, I managed some sub-half inch groups at 50yds. Very promising, we'll see how it does under better conditions.

That's sweet, I went the cheap route with a Ruger American Predator. I was surprised how quiet it is suppressed. I've been using the Remington 33gr accu tips my gun seems to really like them.

Who made the SLIM muzzle device ? Neat looking rig ! Yeah I would Imagine a paralax adjustable scope topping around 15x+ or so would be good for that gun
