Greetings. I have a brand new Bergara HMR Premier Pro in .308. I cleaned the bore and wiped down the bolt with light gun oil to remove all mfg oils. Cleaned off oil carefully and slid bolt back in place.
I made a dozen test shots with some Winchester factory rounds to get me on paper and some hand loads to test a typical load I make for .308's. Both types of ammo cycled properly with no issues.
After 15-18 shots, spent cases pulled out of the chamber properly, but quit ejecting off the bolt face. The spent cases stayed on the bolt face, but I could gently pull the round off the face. Of course this wont do in the hunting field so I need to see what is suggested for a fix?
I can involve Begara, but hunting season is just starting and I need to get this gun into the field. Is there any quick tip to see what is going on?
