Hello: I am contemplating buying a Bernardelli 68 .25ACP Pocket Pistol. I don't know anything about these little pistols and there isn't a tremendous amount of info on the internet that I have seen. Does anyone out there have info on how to break these down? How reliable are they? They look like a nice pistol but I'm seeking advice from this board of experts. Your comments are greatly appreciated.

Thanks T.i.

The only .25 caliber Bernadelli that I could find reference to did not have a model number. I believe your referring to the Vest Pocket model; weight 9oz., 2 1/8" barrel, and 5 shot magazine. I think it was one of the smallest production .25s ever made, being just a tad shorter than the Baby Browning. Quality is very good; the company founded by Vincenzo Bernadelli in 1865, began producing this model right after WWII ended. Importation probably ended with the GCA'68, if not sooner, possibly due to problems with importers, etc. Overall, a nice little .25 auto.
