My buddy has a Bernardelli .380 with a thumbrest and what looks like a 5 or 6 in barrel. Looks like a PPK with a long barrel protruding from the slide and the front sight is at the end of the barrel. The mag release is on the heal of the grip and is not very easy to work. Other than that, it was easy to take apart and seems really nice.

I thought this was some sort of cheapo but from what I can tell, Bernardelli is a very high end gun. Their website has some rather cool stuff that I have never seen.

The thing is in pretty good condition with plastic grips. Finish is good, metal looks good, bore looks good once we got the cobwebs out.

$200 sound like a good price?

Sounds good to me. About five hours ago I put the shorter barreled model 80 on layaway for $249. I think I might ahve gotten it for less but I like to chose my battles.

BTW, interesting gun. Their seems to be a separate trigger safety and hammed safety.

Talk him down maybe $25 if you want but probably buy it. Bernardelli is a high quality brand somewhat underapperciated in the USA. It wil probably be very accurate. I have 2 of them and they do seem prone to having tight mag releases.
