I just ordered some of the Berry 45ACP SWC 200 Grain bullets,,,, I haven't read that much about the Berry cast bullets, Anybody have any experence
Good or Bad with them??

Hi, LBEE. Loaded many thousands of 9mm and .38. Like 'em a lot. But perhaps you should do a search here for "Berry's" or "plated bullets". Lots of related threads.

I've had them tumble when pushed hard at all. Under normal to low velocities, you should not have a problem.

I think they're kinda of an oddball shape compared to "classic" 200 gr lswc cast bullets. I load them to 1.225" with 5 gr W231 with no issues on any of the 1911s, G21, or Xdm.45.

I was wanting Information on The Berry CAST bullets, However, Guess I will find out just ordered 500 of them in the 45ACP SWC 200 Grain. I have been using the MBC in the same bullet which were Great & very Accurate. I buy all my supplys from Graf & Sons who are slow now to stock Them due to some Changes with MBC.

I just got through testing their 200gr LFP and it was very accurate in all five of my .45s, each is a totally different style. Flawless feeding in all five.

A couple of my .45s do not like LSWC bullets so i decided to try the LFP and I'm glad I did. They are slightly cheaper than the plated Berry's and just just as good for my purposes.

Waiting on 1000 more now.

I reload the cast in my 38/357 and love they are consistant and affordable and I don't notice any leading problems.I also load the plated in.380,,9mm,.40 S&W and .45 acp all work great.
