Range session today with my Glock 19 (Gen3). A few weeks ago, I bought a box of Berry's 115 grain FP plated for my daughter's G42. I thought I would give them a try in my pistol and was pleasantly surprised, as I usually shoot a much heavier round (147g).

As my old eyes are not what they used to be, I used my red-dot that's mounted on a Wilson Combat stainless slide.

First time with this load; overall, the results were fair. I used VV N-320 @ 4.4 gr with Starline NP brass: COL 1.060. The slide cycled perfectly; 10 rounds @ 20 yards - results felt good. I think you are going to like this bullet, VooDoo ;)

Nice. Do you have to send your gun away to have that done, or do you buy the slide and then get the optic and put it on yourself, how does that work? I imagine you cant just slap some gorilla glue on there:).

And is the name on the slide the folks who did the work I'm guessing? (yes Im clever like that:))

Im real interested in getting myself something similar. Walkalong has a nice one i've seen pics of, I forget what make/model though.

Hey Potatohead ;) Did all the work myself with items available from Brownells and other vendors. You could do this yourself very easily. I like the quality of the Combat Systems stainless slide; it comes with a machined dado for the Trijicon red dot. A couple of drops of Loctite (2 machine screws) to hold the sight in place. The raised suppressor BUIS are from Ameriglo. KMM match barrel can be purchased from the manufacturer directly.

It's not as difficult as you think. The Pyramid trigger and 3.5 pound connector completely eliminated the "BAD TRIGGER" characteristic normally attributed to Glock pistols.
