Recommended max velocity, 1250fps.
There is no cannelure or crimp groove, and being a plated smooth bullet loaded for 44 magnum. I know that plated bullets prefer a light taper crimp to avoid breaking the plating.
How likely of a chance is there for "jump crimp" or bullet setback? I feel the hotter load i go up towards the 1250 area the more likely this could happen. Ill most likely keep these around 900fps -1000fps to be safe. Feel free to beat me up!!!

1250 with a taper crimp is begging for bullet jump. I've tied up a cylinder with roll crimped 255 grain 44s at 1175. Granted, it was a light roll. I've since gone to an undersized expander button and a firm roll crimp. If it is for serious use (hunting) I trim the cases first to get a uniform crimp.

According to Berry's website:
Max Velocity: 1850 fps
You can use a taper or a roll crimp.

However, I use the FP which has a cannelure, but I don't push plated hard.
