I just picked up my Bersa Thunder .380 yesterday and now am on a quest for an IWB holster. Wondering what brand/models fellow owners have and how the fit is for each. I figure to get some opinions on what you have used and liked or disliked so I can make a more intelligent purchase.

Thank u,

Don Hume is a pretty good company and are very well priced.
The AUCTION is a LITTLE misleading, you can buy Hume Holsters from Hume for ALOT less than 50$.....more like 25.95 heres the link.

There are ALOT of holsters available for your gun...........ALOT! I seriously depends on what you want out of the holster.......angle/cant, rd ht etc.

If their is a good/customer oriented gun store local to you, take your gun down and try a bunch on. It will give you an idea what is better suited for you........

Shoot well.

I agree that there are several options available for this gun. In fact, my Firestorm is the only gun that I have 2 different holsters for. An IWB and a paddle. (unless you consider the IWB for my SA micro .45 or my paddle for my Colt Commander:D , which are interchangable)

The link was just a starting point, and in truth, it is not a bad deal. You don't have to wait 45 days for it either. My only complaint with it is that I wished it had a "J" clip. Even so, it is still comfortable and secure.

Wheee!!! :D
We get to post holster pics again?

That's Chicken's holster shown on the monitor (under all that glare), hehe.

Mine's black velvet over some kind of leather or synthetic, set up for IWB front and center, right hand conventional draw. This generic holster cost me under US$3.00 and I hope it lasts at least a year. A similar holster a relative bought for his Manny PPK is still servicable after 4 years, so I'm hopeful.

:)

Look at Chicken's:
There isn't any excess material to get in the way of good solid purchase of the grip. That's a good thing. Check the retention on a holster, weapon-wise and clothing-wise, before you purchase

Alessi

At the urging of my brother-in-law who owns one for his SA 1911, I bought an Alessi IWB for my Bersa Thunder 380.

In the gunshop, my wife and I held a Don Hume and an Alessi side by side, and the quality of the leather seemed much better, supple, and almost felt "broken in" right out of the package. This is not to disparage Hume, that was a great holster too.

I've since carried it in the small of my back, strong side, and just barely know that it's there. I'd buy another Alessi any day. Sorry I don't have any pics yet.

(And, I discovered, Alessi's shop is virtually right around the corner from where I work. Never knew it was there!)

Good luck.

Uncle Mike's neoprene IWB was a whopping $10.48 at my local camping store and fits my firestorm .380 beautifully.
