Best .270 Win load/cart for Elk

Anybody have good suggestions for good .270 Win Elk loads.

Not handloads...just manufactured ammo.

Hornady Light Mag?

etc..

Federal is my favorite cartridge company. Their Nosler Partition loads or Barnes Triple Shock loads would be best IMO. Stick to heavy grain bullets with the 270 for elk. No need for high energy or light mag loads, standard loads are fine out of the 270.

Any 270 big game bullet should be fine if your shot is placed where it should be. I would choose 150 grain as heavier does have some advantages, but lots of elk have been killed with 130gr. 270 bullets.
