Okay, so I'm mostly a classic rifle guy - think walnut and blued steel. I only have a couple of black rifles, and I've had them both for a while now. I have a Colt AR15 HBar with fixed furniture, and I like it a lot. I also have a Romanian AK, stamped receiver, tang screw, side plate for scope mounting. It has that awful itty bitty factory wood furniture. I want to go to plastic/polymer furniture for grownups. Keep in mind that I'm tallish - 6'2".

Where can I buy good poly furniture that has a longer buttstock than the Romanian factory wood at the best price?

a 2-3" longer buttstock would be ideal.
I don't care about color.
I'm thinking fixed buttstock, but I'd consider a folder if I could see some advantage in it.
I don't want Picatinny rails all over the front guard, just simple furniture.

Thanks in advance for any input!

My rifle has the K-Var US made plastics on it as compliance parts. Very nicely made and has held up for a couple of years with no problems. BSW

I like the looks of the K-Var stuff. Thanks for the pics! My next question is, could you please explain the term "compliance parts."

Thanks again!

Just came from a gunshow where my friend picked up a real nice folding buttstock for his AK-47. He's fairly tall at 6'4", and with long arms the original buttstock on his AK made it rather uncomfortable for him to shoot. Most of the aftermarket fixed and folding stocks typically only added another 1 to 2 inches to the length of pull. He found one today that featured an AR-15 style collapsible 6 position folder, which at its furthest extension gives him about 4 to 5 inches more in overall length. I don't know who the manufacturer is but as soon as he texts me back with the info, I can post it here.

It's a UTG folding stock, item number RB-A68747B-KT. I found it online at ifatactical.com.
