Hello friends,

I want a method of carry that will work when bike riding and roller blading and I think a belly band seems like the best fit. I am looking at retention models and none of them come from makers I recognize so I thought I'd ask and see what you all have had the best results with...

I want retention since I might take a spill

I want concealment since I'll be doing these activities in an urban setting where I feel open carry might be inappropriate and draw unwanted attention

I want a no belt, no pocket holster (aka a belly band or smart carry style option) that will carry and conceal in athletic clothing

Any recommendations?

I'm not anticipating a quick draw (and tbh with a bike or other means of conveyance I will probably be able to flee quite expediently from a bad situation) I just want the option to have something on me just in case within my wardrobe limitations for running / biking / skating. The Undertech and the Dalforce look like the top two I've reviewed so far but I'm just googling as well and hoping to hear from someone who has one and is active with it how good it holds up, how good retention is, etc. for a model someone has actually wrung out in the field

I have a Desantis. Used to use it in winter under a sweater, as it put the gun pretty much under my arm. Definitely not quick-draw, but useful at times. My biggest problem was I don't wear undershirts, and it is not comfortable against skin.

For biking, I use a belt and kydex holster with a Glock 26, under my safety vest.

Brave Response Holster. https://www.brshooting.com/shop/ I used their classic for a year or so and switched to the appendix carry option and absolutely love it. Great retention and I have never had an issue. I carry a CZ P-10c in and and bike and run with it. Zero issues so far and I can wear any style of clothing, without having a gun on my belt. Mine seems well made and is holding up nicely.
