Another plus for using polish (NuFinish for me), is that the brass stays tarnish free longer, and I've noticed that sparkly clean brass sizes easier on the press. Corncob seems to get me a better shine, but walnut works better on the real cruddy looking brass. I ran 50/50 for a while, but now I keep both seperate. 90% of the time I use corncob/nufinish. I only use the untreated walnut for the range pickups that need a little extra help. I take a full dryer sheet and put an overhand knot right in the middle (so it looks like a bowtie), that knot keeps the sheet tumbling with the media. The cut strips were cliging to the wall of the bowl, and weren't coming out as dirty.
