best brass polishing agent

Another plus for using polish (NuFinish for me), is that the brass stays tarnish free longer, and I've noticed that sparkly clean brass sizes easier on the press. Corncob seems to get me a better shine, but walnut works better on the real cruddy looking brass. I ran 50/50 for a while, but now I keep both seperate. 90% of the time I use corncob/nufinish. I only use the untreated walnut for the range pickups that need a little extra help. I take a full dryer sheet and put an overhand knot right in the middle (so it looks like a bowtie), that knot keeps the sheet tumbling with the media. The cut strips were cliging to the wall of the bowl, and weren't coming out as dirty.

Bingo, best have found yet, and by far the cheapest.

So you use USED dryer sheets? Not new ones? That knot idea sounds great too.

Have I ever said I love this site? Man, I love this site! :D

Nufinish and lizard litter have done well. I've tried flitz, but comparing prices of the same volume, Nufinish easily wins.

Oh ya! My diamond rings are shinney as is my watch, and no its not a timex.
I don't think anyone else caught that, but I did....good one. What's the sense in this? I don't drive my car after it rains if I can avoid it, and I certainly don't expose my wedding band to a sooty detonation on a routine basis just so I get the joy of polishing it up again. Maybe I just have a job that eats up too many hours to fool around with it. Maybe when I retire...

Just that I like all my equipment and myself to look as good as possible. Nothing wrong with that, I guess. Time wise, got plenty of time, disabled vet.

I have used Flitz and it worked but I like Nu-Finish better. It seems to keep the cases brighter longer.

Anybody have issues with static cling? I have been using plastic containers and colander for separation and the static buildup really makes a mess. I use NEW drier sheets every so often to fight the cling.
