OK, I'll Play...
Rifle..New Centerfire Stevens Mdl 200, Mossberg ATR-100. Mossberg has no sights or scope, but does have "Weaver" scope bases. MSRP on Mossberg is $244, last time I looked. Stevens is Savage Arms "Entry-Level Value-Price" rifle line. Inexpensive, but NOT cheap low-qualityquality.
Rifle..New Rimfire autoloader Ruger 10/22 or Marlin 60. Well under $200 for either one.
Rifle..Bolt Centerfire Mil-Surp. Any of the Mosin-Nagant series. You will spend a few bucks on mineral spirits, brake cleaner, etc to get all the cosmoline off, but many of the Mosin-Nagant can be bought for under $100. 7.62x54 ammo is cheap, and on par with .30-06/.308/7.62x51 (NATO) ammo in performance. If you want a centefire autoloader Mil-Surp, the SKS series is the least expensive right now. Yugo 59/66 variants frquently under $150
Shotgun New pump action Mossberg 500 series, Maverick 88 by Mossberg. You might find Winchester 1300 or one of the Remington 870 series under $250 if you look around some.
Revolver..Centerfire...hmmm don't know how many new sub-$250's you will find. In previously owned, you can find a lot of Mdl 10 Smiths, Ruger Speed-Serivce-Security Six series. May run across a Colt or two if looking hard.
Pistol..Rimfire autoloader Ruger MK II/MK III are under $250 new if you look a bit. Not sure what the Smiths & Brownings are going for right now. New MK II's are just about gone from the shelves.
