I'm picking up a brand new Kahr MK9 Elite in a week when the clock ticks down and am looking for a good holster for CCW. I'm partial to IWBs, and am looking for recommendations/arguments for/against your favorite holsters for crossdraw, 2-3 o'clock, SOB positions, etc. My top three concerns are:

1. Safety
2. Concealability
3. Concealability

Bring 'em on, folks!

Congrats on your purchase. You'll be VERY happy!! I personally cant stand IWB, so I cant help on that one. I carry in a Don Hume 721OT OWB with an un-tucked columbia shirt or equivalent. It simply disappears. There are currently no OWB paddle holsters made for these, not that I would use one, but I would check them out. I also have PM9 that I use in a Desantis Nemisis pocket holster. Perfect combo. Good luck with your hunt!! KEvin.

I'll take a moment to pimp for CrossBreed holsters here, I love mine, and it isn't that much more expensive if compared to 3-4 non-custom holsters. The ability to tuck in some shirts is nice, I don't use it often as I generally wear an un-tucked camp or bowling shirt. The hybrid holster design is good in that it keeps the belt attachment points off of the gun (making less bulk) and has a wide leather surface to lessen the digging-in the gun can do into you. I am not employed or affiliated with CB, but I made another order from them today (ohai velcro holster and a mag carrier for MrsBFD and myself, plus a belt for me), and if they tossed in another mag carrier I wouldn't complain. (hint, hint, mtcraigco!)

Don't forget a serious gunbelt either, Jim the Belt Man made mine, but I've been hearing good things about the CrossBreed version as well. If you are new to CC, the stiff & snug belt will keep the pistol tight against you, letting you conceal larger guns in snugger clothing. I'll probably end up posting about a CB belt soon.

When I carried a PM9, I used a Hidden Ally made by High Noon holsters. It was tuckable, comfortable, and very discreet.
