The Sportsman's Guide is great. Join their buyer's club, and buy in bulk. They send me $10 off coupons all the time for orders of $100. That pays for most of the shipping, plus you get an added discount for being a club member.

I also order most of my clothes from them, too. Believe me, the $29.95 to join the member's club pays for itself many times over.

I agree with what others have said about Natchezss--WAAAAY overpriced, and their shipping charges are too high--particularly if you live on the west coast.

This is the correct answer. All the "favorite" specific retailers mentioned in this thread are great sources, but none of them are "cheapest" on "everything" "all the time". It varies with time/brand/caliber.

My online ammo purchases are mostly from Sportsmans Guide. With coupons and the member discount their prices are competitive. If they're out of stock though be prepared for a long wait... 9mm ammo I ordered last week in December is still on backorder.
