I'm looking hard at the Mossberg 500. Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore is having a sale on just about all Mossberg shotguns. They have a left hand 18.5in barrel for $329 and a 26in barrel for $279. Choices choices.

If the ammo capacity is equal, take the least expensive and use the money saved to get another barrel in 18.5" if needed. You could then choose possibly different options, such as sights.
