Best company to deal with?

Super; above and beyond the call: SIG, STI

"A" for effort, "F" for execution (replaced in a timely fashion with another broken example): Springfield, Kahr

"C-": Friendly but useless: Kimber

Pits: Beretta. Stone useless.

And, if we're allowed to drift off handguns, I'll second the above "Dillon" nomination for the "Super" catagory.

Note: the plural of "anecdote" is not "data".

Kevin,

LOL.

Why not tell the folks at THR about how you waited two years and paid $700 for a gun that we sold to a dealer for $275.00 with a suggested retail of $339.00 five months before you received it. We can back those records up. I can understand you being upset for waiting two years and paying $700 for a $339 gun but we had nothing to to with the price and nothing to do with five months of that two year wait.

Then tell the folks how you sold the gun you said was defective to some unsuspecting soul who never returned the pistol to us for repair work. We have the records to show we never received the pistol for warranty work? How much did you sell it for? Did you tell the buyer it was defective? Our records show we never got it back.

Come on over to the forum at our website and voice your complaints.

There will be no censorship of your grievances. I guarantee it.

Let's just all tell the truth. I've already admitted that because of financial pressures and other circumstances we didn't treat all our early customers with the attention they deserved. We did the best we could but sometimes our best was pitifull. I've apologized for that. I repeat that apology.

For the record, however, we have never charged anyone for repair for parts or labor in over thirty years in business although our official warranty is only a year. I apologize for being slow, but I do not apologize for the quality of our warranty work.

KQ, come on over and post at our forum.

Kevin, while you are at it, tell the folks at THR about the unanswered messages you left at an answering machine we never had.

Tell them about how you tried to send faxes with voice messages and how those faxes went unanswered.

LOL.

Hi there,

Hands down its Kel Tec for me. They have done incredible things in the customer service department, i.e. sending free parts, excellent technical advice.

Smith and Wesson. Back when they were souped up on their ISO9002 certification, they would do just about anything for you. Sadly enough, they won't refinish anodized aluminum frames now.

I second the nomination for Ruger as well. Years ago, someone in the gunshop "clipped" a set of scope rings for a rifle I bought NIB. They sent a free set with no questions asked.

Colt who?

Chris

Hi Seecamp,

Have you noticed you are the ONLY maker who has to insult, and get PERSONALLY involved with, ANYONE who had a bad experience with your product?
Anybody seen someone on here from Colt, S&W, Ruger, Glock, H&K, Kimber, Sig, Beretta, Kel Tec, Taurus, CZ, or any other mfgr.? ONLY Seecamp has to defend his products. Hint: Larry if you spent more time answering your phone, and building a quality product you would not have to defend yourself.
This is a OPEN site. When I read the rules I must have missed the part about YOU being exempt from criticism from former Seecamp owners. YOU had the market locked up for years.YOUR business practices allowed Kel-Tec, and N.A.A. to take it away from you.

Kevin

My expierence with Smith & Wesson was totally satisfactory. Worst service was EAA (European American Armoury) and Colt second.
