I traded for a .22-250 recently and would like to hear about any experience with bullets, primarily for coyotes. It is a Howa with a standard 1-14" twist barrel. 55 gr is probably the heaviest bullet that will stabilize reliabaly and that will work fine for yotes. I would prefer heavier if anyone has had good luck with a specific bullet that will work with that twist.
I've heard good things about Hornadys but haven't tried them in .22.
The rifle is decent. The action is very smooth and the trigger is very good for a factory set-up. The synthetic stock is a bit too flexible but the fit is good. Howa wasn't my first choice but the deal was too good to pass up.
