Best gun coating?

Send it somewhere that can Melonite it! If you aren't familiar with Melonite, it is basically the same thing as the Tennifer finish on Glock handguns, and we all know how good that is.

When that coating wears through again, have it hard chromed, which is what I would've suggested in the first place. No coating will be as durable as a good plated finish like hard chrome, electroless nickel or NP3 (nickel & teflon). The grip frame can be bead blasted and left bare.
