Haven't visited them all yet so I can't really say but Gun Cellar on Montgomery Highway, Hoover AL, has real nice people staffing it and some nice rifles. Only one class three that I know of though, a REAL 1928 Thompson. Too bad it's ten thousand or I'd jump all over it.

I do a lot of work related travel, so my "area" is pretty large....Cabela's and Scheels are the ultimate stores. Walk into any Cabela's Gun Library and it's pure class. Wide assortment of handguns to the finest in drillings, doubles, and collectibles.

Despite the name it sells pretty much guns and accesories. The store carries several thousand rifles and handguns in stock at all times and will get you anything you want in a jiffy. Price and trade in have always been very fair in my experience. The staff are extremely knowledgable and businesslike in their dealings with the customer. No baloney or messing around. Good shooting
