What is the best pocket holster for the hammerless S&W 642-2? I am looking for one that will not show the outline in the front of the pants pocket. I am more concerned with concealment than cost.
Thanks

I use an Uncle Mikes. It's cheap and works for me, though if I remember correctely I got it in a slightly larger size to cover the triggerguard fully. Do a search for pocket holster in this forum and you can find a lot of recommendations for other choices.

By the way, welcome to The High Road.

tunkhannock:

At K&D Holsters, I make a pocket holster for the j-frames that is called our Pocket Defender 2n1. It has an anti-print panel that snaps on and off, as desired. You can view it here: http://www.kdholsters.com/pdc.shtml . (The picture on the website page is a left-hand model.)

I also make a holster that we term as a 3n1. It's the same set up as the 2n1, wherein you have the anti-print panel that snaps on and off. However, the 3n1 version comes with two panels, one for right-hand carry and one for left-hand carry. There are snaps on both sides of the holster itself. You then attach the appropriate panel based on the pocket or draw that you wish to carry it as. The holster itself is ambi-dextrious, allowing you to carry it in any pocket without the panel(s) attached if you desire.

Best of luck to you in your search.

Has anyone ever used the Don Hume Front Pocket Leather Holster? If so, what do you think of it?
