Looking to get an IWB for my sp101. Been carrying it in the small of my back tucked in my belt but looking for a good holster for comfort and to secure it better. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have the Crossbreed Supertuck for my 2 1/4" DAO SP101. I really like it and use it nearly daily. I'd be interested in trying a similar Hybrid that fully encloses the firearm. I've never had an issue with the barrel being exposed with the Supertuck, but I think a fully enclosed barrel would be an improvement.

I had one from AKJ Concealco. I have had numerous holsters from them. Each and every one is worth way more than I actually paid for it. The quality is top notch, the price is very very fair for what you get, and it's a very comfortable and durable holster.

I've admired the AKJ Concealco design for a few years, though I've not bought one.

Looking at his site, I'm wondering if he is still in business? When was your last order?

My SP101 rides in a Don Hume 715TB IWB holster. I'm sure it isn't 'the best' either, but it is plenty good for me. It has a steel belt clip, and single thickness molded leather. It fits the gun perfectly making the reholster easy. I chose the model with the thumbsnap because I often ride horseback/atv/jeep and don't want any surprises.

Of the two things I really like about this holster, one was the value. the other is the ease of reholster and resnapping the thumbsnap. I have had holsters that took two hands to get the gun holstered. Not the case with this one.

I have a super tuck for a 3" SP101 but I just can't get comfortable with IWB. It does work well enough if you can get used to it.

AKJ Concealco.

I wouldn't buy anything from them due to the poor experience trying to find something on their site, and all of the broken links is ridiculous.

I've heard so many great things about Crossbreed holsters that I had to have one to try. They say due to high demand it will take 8 weeks to get it, but I'm sure it will be worth the wait. Everybody I've talked to just loves them.

I use a pancake style that can be worn OWB or IWB, made by simplyrugged about $115.00 with the IWB straps but in my opinion it‘s well worth it .
Would post pics but some reason my asus tablet won‘t let me.

I have purchased two holsters from Tommy Theis and they have both been well crafted and fully functional at a reasonable price. He has quick delivery and offers a modicum of customization on his holsters. On my first one, I ordered the belt slots which allows the IWB holster to be worn on the belt as an OWB holster.

I have a Blade-Tech kydex IWB for my 3" SP101. They don't have an SP101 photo on their site, but the holster looks like this, and also available with a J-hook attachment:

Blade-Tech has a 5 or 6-week backlog, but I have about a half-dozen different models and I think they are a good value.

The SP101 is very comfortable IWB because the barrel is obviously not very wide, so most of the holster that's in your waistband is also very thin - thinner than any pistol. You definitely need a proper belt - and Blade-Tech sells those too:).
