Best place for defensive handgun training?

...where is the best place to go to learn defensive handgun training?

I went to Front Sight in Nevada, and would highly recommend them to anyone.

This time of year I'd suggest you seriously consider Gunsite in Prescott, AZ. You can almost be guaranteed sunshine and daytime temperatures above 50 deg F. I have a couple friends that have attended their courses and they only have good things to say about it. http://www.gunsite.com/

While your in AZ you can take a quick day trip to the Grand Canyon if you haven't already seen it.

Gunsite is a great school with excellent facilities and instruction. I've been there twice, once for the pistol class and once for the rifle class, and I've been pleased and impressed both times.

It's also a nice place to be.
