I have been internet shopping for a M1A for a while and seem to have had little luck besides places like impact Arms and Bud's Guns. My local dealers are HIGH.

I am looking for a loaded M1A in walnut.

Does anyone have a suggestion of where to look for the best price?

Thanks in advance!

Bob

Try Bud's.

Best price I could find on a new one. That being said, you might be able to find a used one with USGI parts in good shape, and end up with an arguably better rifle for a similar price.

Just bought my Loaded 9822 (stainless barrel/walnut stocks) M1A at Bud's. With shipping, $1,525. That was about the cheapest I found and their service was top notch.

Be prepared to upgrade to a Sadlak recoil spring guide, buy some necessary tools, a book to learn everything you will want to know, and a bunch of pricey ammo. I also started buying certain USGI spare parts, just to have. The most common USGI part swap you will likely do is a USGI extractor which I was advised is good to have around and ready for replacement.

Good luck!
