What are the best sites for ammo?

Also doesnt all the sites use UPS? Meaning i would be unable to recieve it at my convenience at the PO Box?

Would I have to make sure i was home the day of to sign for it?

Thanks

I get ammo from delivered to my front door. I don't have to sign for it.

I believe it may depend on the laws of your state.

I haven't had to sign for mine, either, but it's supposed to be Adult Signature Required - most drivers will probably just drop it and go, but nevertheless, it is the law, I believe.

I just bought some from ammunition to go, 20 bucks for 50rds of federal HST +P 9mm!!! and it was AT my house within 4 days, over a weekend too, left it at my front door. awesome service and price.... next time i need JHP ill be doing business with them again

Ammoman.com is where I go. If they have your info on hand they will ship "No signature required".

I recommend www.mastercast.net. Prompt, inexpensive, reliable reloads. I've fired over 5,000 of their .38sp range loads and about 800 of their 9x19 hardcast lead truncated cone. Never a problem. They ship by FedEx, which leaves the shipment on my front porch behind the bush. No signature required. You can really save money by sending Mastercast your spent brass in exchange (same amount, same caliber). If you do, send it by USPS Priority Mail. I send a thousand cases that way for nine bucks and change. I don't think you can beat that any way but with a good friend who happens to be driving to Enid Valley, PA.

I used to use National Bullet Company. Decent product, terrible service, and lies lies lies. Not recommended.

I used to use OutdoorMarksman's 9mm fmj "factory reloads". Fired 2,000 with no problems. Then, in the third thousand, I had two rounds come apart while being loaded. The bullets ended up in the chamber up against the lands and the powder everywhere -- an accident waiting to happen. I immediately field stripped my pistol and removed the bullets from the chamber. Each had a gouge on the same spot, where the loading tool crimps the cartridge lips into the cannelure. I showed them to the range owner. He said it appeared the ram on the loading device must have been offline, and warned me to put distance between myself and that ammo. I have done so, though I will shop for name brand ammo there.

Cordially, Jack

+1 on ammunitiontogo. Ordered my 9mm carry ammo through them. Very reasonable price, and they didn't require a signature or ID for it (the UPS guy just left it at my apartment office for me to pick up later).

the-armory.com is also good. Got a couple of boxes of 230 grain golden sabers for my .45 carry ammo for a real good price (about 15 bucks, IIRC).
