Impact action and brake
this action is pretty amazing. running the bolt on it compared to my surgeons and bighorns (and any other action I've tried) feels so much better, as if it requires much less force to cock the action. this means the gun isn't disturbed nearly as much and you can get back on target faster. lots of little features like trigger hanger, etc make it worth serious consideration. also, it's machined so consistently, several gunsmiths are making pre-fit barrels for it (already headspaced, just screw it on. not like savage bbl nut) but you should get barrels from stuteville precision

Foundation stock w/arca rail
after years of chasing chassis and other types of stocks, i'm back to the more traditional mcmillan-type, except with an enormous leap in materials. i'm kind of amazed how well their material feels under recoil and in the hand. it's heavy and perfectly balanced. and the accessories like the arca rail on the bottom mean i can mount a bipod or tripod anywhere on the fore-end. (still waiting on an EFR style NV mount... *cough*cough*)

nothing new, but fantastic as always
Triggertech diamond single stage trigger
learning to shoot a rifle in old high power days, where 2-stage triggers were a must, with a 4.5lb weight limit for service rifle, I stuck with 2-stage triggers (x-treme / cg jackson style) for all my previous bolt guns and loved them. I've ventured into new territory here and it feels alien to me so far and the 11 oz weight actually feels heavy to me since the 2nd stage on my old triggers was set usually around half a pound. but it is crisp and i can't feel any over travel. I think I'm going to like it.

Nightforce atacr 7-35x in spuhr mount
definitely the best scope on the market today. glass is great; almost S&B quality. focus is sensitive like S&B (some may not like this but I do). 35x is pretty cool, though i mostly shoot it in the familiar 15-25x range. Knobs are remarkably similar to the old S&B DT turrets, crisp, with a zero stop, but adds a covered windage knob, which is perfect. NF reliability

Chambered in 6dasher
I love this round. So little recoil. My crosshairs move less than a mil under recoil. And it's so easy to load consistent ammo. I cleaned, as I always do after the first round on this barrel. The second round had a bit of cleaning fluid in it. Rounds 3,4,5,6 were 3 fps ES
