Best way to slightly enlarge a feature in a boltaron holser shell (Alien Gear)

I got my CZ P-07 holster from Alien Gear. The fit is fantastic but the bump out appears to be for the decocker not the safety. I need to enlarge the bump 1-2mm on the direction of safe as the holster knocks the safety off the full detent (about 1/4 of the way toward fire).

Would a controlled temp soldering iron be a good choice?
