Better Load for 32 H&R Self Defense Rounds?

I have both of those bullets on the shelf and I have loaded several different loads with both in .32 H&R and .327 FM cases. (Never used True Blue powder, but I’ve tried others in the stash. AA#9 and a 100 gr XTP in the .327 is a good choice.)

Of the two loads you list, I personally would lean towards the 100 gr XTP load only because I think it should have deeper penetration than the 85. Neither should be much of a kicker at .32 H&R speeds, so in reality whichever load shoots best for you in your gun will work.

Stay safe.
A true tester has plenty to pick from!!

An "informed shooter" would never use a wood dowel. Not that your post made any sense at all, and I certainly don't understand why you brought 22lr into the discussion. Also, if you create that many squibs, lol...may want to look at a different hobby. You should probably stick to factory yourself. You have a nice day.
Yep had three since 2001. Two no powder and one dud primer. My two cents worth really messed with those that can't handle disagreements in public. You do that a lot?

Well, when you give advice like using a wood dowel......kind of detracts from your credibility. BTW, I can handle disagreements just fine...I don't do misinformation or ignorance well though, both of which you've introduced into this thread. And now.....Walkalong will have to close this thread;-(

Good lord. What are you talking about

Beats your rebar
See, there you go with that ignorance thing again....in fact if you could find rebar around .23 to .25 or so....it would make a better tool for removing a squib in a .30 to .32 bore than a than a wooden dowel. I use brass rods for such things myself, like most experienced folks. But hey, you do you....though based on your history of posting and the kind of stuff you tell people.....you really should move onto a different hobby and stick to factory ammo.

Your way wrong. You wood dowel won't be harmful to your rifling. Brass rod good lord. Name calling is a sign of the simple minded. Give it another go

Ok, I'm laughing now.....you've got to be trolling. Nobody has this little general gun knowledge and actually handloads.

I started to trim this train wreck, but had so many posts selected I decided to just lock it. It was tempting to take action, but I haven't. Better luck next time @jski , sorry it turned out like this. Folks are on the radar, there's no need to ruin threads like this, it was a simple question.
