beware of thieves

I've a feeling many of these people are just inconsiderate SOBs who simply get a kick out of doing stuff like this. Yeah, some of them are stealing for the value, but a lot of it is simply being immature, vindictive little anal orifices.

Oh yes, just bless their little hearts!

I hope they all burn in hell (victim of theft here).

If my Father had lived (he passed when I was almost 10 yrs old) and caught me doing something like that, it would not have been pleasant for me. I suspect that I would have had to go to the owner and confess, return the stolen goods, re mount them. Then he would have punished me after we returned home. I might have volunteered to call the police myself.

Have a blessed day,

Leon

We had some issues at one time at our cabin. After quite a bit of research, we bought some cellular security cams off amazon, made by Reolink. Fantastic cameras, come with a solar panel to charge the batteries, and take a sim card from T mobile, I think they have a couple other cell companies they work with as well. I can pull up every camera we have now on my phone, I get instant notification if movement is detected, IR so night vision is great, two way audio as well. They have a model that tilts and pans now, , just ordered one to put on the front of the cabin. Reg cams were around $240 when we got them, I believe they are less expensive now. The pan/tilt was $289 I think or somewhere around there. It arrives tomorrow, will get out maybe this weekend to put it up.
Can't recommend them enough. No wires, and the solar chargers have never went under 87% battery charge in the two years we have had them up. Sim card fee is $10 a month per camera, cheap insurance and peace of mind.

Not much worse than a thief, glad your situation seemed to have worked out, hopefully they get more than a slap on the wrist.
