I wouldn't have taken an attorney into an interview. This puts suspsicion on you, "why have an attorney present if you're just a victim?" mentality.

The lawyer is there simply to protect and watch over your interests, and can serve as a witness to the Detective's behavior. He can also advise you on whether or not the interview is fair and prevent you from saying something that could incriminate you.

I fail to see how NOT having one is good for you.

Nothing happening on this front.

Is no news good news? Surely the excriment has flowed downhill by now. I imagine Detective Quinn has lost much interest in my case - especially since he was breathing down my neck about three times a day until I sent that letter.

Maybe I'll check up on him to see how he's doing tonight when I get off of work.

Waiting on my brother in law to make a steel one (and frame) fall off the truck.

Not sure i would be posting about my brother in law stealing doors from where he works on an internet forum ZeroDGZ.

The person who stole your guns has a criminal record, he is known to the police. Any word on that end of things??

Hopefully he's not telling them you sold him the gun in exchange for Drugs or some other story to take the heat off himself.

First of all...ditch your gf, she can't be trusted.
Second, file a formal complaint with the PD....you are not the Criminal, you're the victim!!!!

He's the boss at work. He can do whatever he likes with his doors, including not charge me for them if he feels like it. I mean, it's his bottom line.

This just shows that cops are people too, with no special skills or intellect that would make them any more suitable to carry firearms than the rest of us. This cop shows that he doesn't understand the 2nd. Bag him and send him to North Korea.

Done with page 1. First before I go to the others sorry about your gun loss (not sure if page 2 to 4 have updates to those).

Second I had a girlfriend let another man into my apartment without me being there ONCE. She was ex-girl friend and kicked out of my apartment in less than 12 hours later.

I'm no expert, but I get the feeling he isn't monitoring this thread closely.

Dang, I read through all this, and got to THIS ending? Like reading a book and finding out someone's torn out the last chapter.

I agree with you. There are a few threads here that don't tell the END of the story or what happened even if nothing was totally resolved, recovered, figured out and/or 'ended'.

I would love to know more details about this too.

Locking up guns is wise.

You know this detective from first hand experience. However, there is a technique in questioning that involves asking what seem like dumb questions. The facts contained in the answer are not important. It is your manner in answering, the emotions you display, that are revealing to the questioner. This detective may have just been an anti-gun jerk or he may have been fishing for something else. Just a thought to consider.
