Looking to upgrade from an Uncle Mike's to a quality leather holster for my Glock 36. I recently saw a guy at my local shop with a Bianchi 82 and was thoroughly impressed with how close it held his gun to his body. This is important to me because in the summer my only concealment is an untucked t-shirt. However, I'm a little hesitant with the retention feature. In a stressful situation, could this be a theoretical impedance? I don't have any local stores that carry Bianchi so I can try out first-hand so I'm relying on the good folks at THR to steer me in the right direction. As I said, I carry a Glock 36. I am a lefty and I definitely want OWB -- I tried IWB and found it too uncomfortable. I've pretty much narrowed down my selection to either a Bianchi 82 or a Bianchi Minimalist. Any advice is appreciated.

Kind of off the subject question but:

Have you tried one of the Glock plastic holsters?

I have several leather Glock holsters and still usually find myself reaching for the cheap plastic Glock holster anytime I want a body hugging under-garment holster for my Model 23.

They don't look like much, but like all things Glock, they just plain work.

Unfortunately, the G36 is the red-headed stepchild of the Glock firearm line (something I didn't realize when I bought it). The Glock holsters and magazine holders work with every Glock model EXCEPT...the G36.

That does look like a nice setup, though.
