Big Bore 444 Marlin hunting

A 444 would be way down on my list of guns to take...

The .444 will do a fine job on either critter......with the right bullet.

Dug a slug out of a black bear I shot a few years back in Maine....

I would not use any bullet on grizzly or moose that did not exit on a black bear.

Explanation.......1st hit on that particular bear was at some distance...he went down rolled and came up running at me....I leveled the gun for a second shot, he looked at me and he turned broadside goin' full tilt. My second shot was through and through but a little back of the lung....actually blew his entire liver out of him as I picked it up off the ground....got the bear and never to this day have seen such an exit wound on any animal I've take.....
