I was buying 9mm CCI Aluminum Blaser at Academy $3.86/50 "everyday low price" according to usinflationcalcuator.com that is $5.24 in "today's" money. I won't bore you with the results for $9/500 bricks of .22lr I shot up back then.


I quit reloading 9mm while this was available. The components I didn't use were a great "investment" as I used them up during the Obama years.

Good luck finding even Wolf/Tula 9mm for $7/50 in the Trump era.

I paid $157 for 1000 rounds of remington 9mm from Wal mart at the beginning of 2018 (Trump Era). Times were good. I was proactive, just not proactive enough. I was able to nudge my uncle a lil bit to stock up pretty decently with TargetSportsUsa before the big increases.

A club member (he was at Action Pistol last week) finds it every week on Monday Mornings at Academy. I don't know of anybody going to Academy on Monday or Wed. afternoons or evenings.
